In Charlie Baker's World, good news stories for Massachusetts are often bad news. A classic example is when CNBC ranked Massachusetts the 5th best state in the nation for business.

For the first time in the history of this ranking, a state from the Northeast finished in the top five. More impressively, Massachusetts moved up 3 places from its 8th place ranking in 2009 and 10 spots from its 15th place ranking in 2008.

Massachusetts received points for its quality of life, education, technology and innovation. In the real world, this is good news for Massachusetts. Very good news.

Back in Charlie Baker's World, the day CNBC announced their rankings, the Baker campaign said:

"Today's new rankings by CNBC further highlight the failures of the Patrick Administration during the last four years."

Failure??? For a 5th place ranking out of a possible 50? Good news about our state must not exist in Charlie Baker's World.

This website reeks of desperation. This is exactly what we expect from John Walsh, the Chairman who lost Ted Kennedy's seat. Negativity is what did Martha in. John, you are gonna go 2 for 2 with Deval. Great work.

Southie Tom

I'll bet John is going, two for two, with Deval. What you're unable to understand is that Deval won the first race and is in line to win again, especially when considering Massachusetts resurgence, ahead of the rest of the country and the world. Then consider the failures of Charlie Baker in state finance and then doing all he could to bankrupt Harvard Pilgrim Healthcare, and stealing into the night (retirement) with a pay out package more than three times his half million dollars a year salary.

Welcome to Charlie Baker's World

Welcome to Charlie Baker's world: a tongue-in-cheek look at a special place where Charlie Baker can use "facts" that aren't true; a place where, when things don't go well, it isn't his fault or he wasn't involved; a place where anything might happen.
