Sometimes in Charlie Baker's World, when the facts from the Real World are not on your side, then just make up new ones.
for all his professed policy expertise, he has gotten some basic facts wrong, including his assertion that Mitt Romney left the governor's office in 2007 with a $5 billion surplus. (Romney left a balanced budget with no surplus, according to the Massachusetts Taxpayers Foundation.)

And people are starting to notice.
I may have called it a surplus yesterday. I didn't call it a surplus today.

See, in Charlie Baker's World, it is normal to make up numbers and statistics. Maybe tomorrow they will make up some new things.
Stay tuned...

Now I know the main reason that I'm a Democrat: I'm not boring enough to be a Republican.
It sounds like Baker is proposing the exact same policies as the preceding 4 Republican Administrations (Weld, Cellucci, Swift, and Romney). Didn't we lose jobs and wasn't there a downturn in the Private and Public sectors during that time? Why would anyone want to repeat with a Weldellucciftney lookalike?
Big Dig Baker is a guy who cannot begin to feel the pressures of the average working guy in the Commonwealth. If he could he would have pushed the Governor harder on casino development. But at the end of the day Charlie goes off to Swampscott and dreams of being Governor, not for the service he could provide the Commonwealth as Governor, but for the legacy being Governor will provide for his inflated ego! What a sham!
Last time I checked John Cowl, we are in a downturn right now.
This is quite the spin factory. Have you seen Baker's take on it? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_gFUyveLWr4&feature=player_embedded
You moonbats are going to be surprised when Moonbat Prince Patrick accepts a job in DC from King Moonbat Obama when he loses in November. Tax increases, lies, failed policies and many more reasons people have had enough of the democrats on beacon hill and capitol hill. I am proud to be an independent voter and will be casting a ballot for Baker in November. Didn't vote for Patrick in 06 or Obama in 08 and won't vote for Patrick this year or Obama in 12.
